Assault on Reality
We have developed, together with filmmaker Rolando Opazo, poetical
actions at differents places in the city, which we call "Assaults on
Reality" - a bridge beside the Mapocho River, an empty pool in winter,
the last subway wagon of the day - may represent an augmented reality of our thoughts, an extension of our bodies.
The idea of improvisation, between these entities playing at invisible
forms - like the river's current, the saturated wind, the train's gear
and the cello's sound - emerges as a surprise for us.
We follow by instinct, fusing into the scene in a subtle and natural way. Once we are able to discover it, the process becomes a breathing of image and sound.
